we proudly present the first solo ep by dubatech on baum, after his highly acclaimed track nonagon on the baumlpe002 back in 2009,we finally are ready to release three tracks of his signature sound with dub infused techno! white vinyl with yellow splatter!

(white vinyl with grey splatter) we are proud to add a new member to the baum family. sascha rydell of fachwerk fame has produced two powerfull tracks for is debut release on baum. a day ward has dubby elements, and a modulating groove perfect for the dancefloor. crack willow is a more deep and atmospheric track close to a deep house vibe, which also gets some dirty raw treatment from resoe on his morning reshape remix.

the third release by the finnish producer leftover on the label. as always the tracks are full of deepness with a well balanced mix of echos, reverbs. this is again a fantastic release from him, which will become a future classic!

long time dubtechno veteran and label owner of the copenhagen based baum records delivers two powerful tracks for this release. joey anderson takes us through the dark streets of nyc in his interpretation of larm and brings it all together. limited coloured vinyl.

mysterious producer from copenhagen with releases on freund der familie and baum records delivers two massive detroit-dubbed out cuts in memory of the late christa mcauliffe. grad_u takes you on a long hypnotic voyage in his reconstruction of ov-099. as always limited coloured vinyl.

sascha borchardt (a.k.a monoloc) will start a label, unterland, with a new ep.
the label will serve as a vehicle through which the german producer takes a step away from the club environment by presenting new sonic interpretations, including experimental, minimalist, and atmospheric. material will come from monoloc himself and friends, and the focus will be on “dramatic” sounds with drone and noise influences. think movie soundtracks and film music, albeit with both feet planted in the electronic genre. each release will aim to “tell a story” through 8 to 10 productions.
unterland will launch in end of march 2018 with a collaborative ep by monoloc and beauty of inconsequenz, a unsearchable and unidentified project with no previous recording history. the eight tracks are all based heavily on field recordings, the sound is dark and deeply atmospheric with dubstep influences. while distanced somewhat from the 4/4 format, the tracks are cerebral and hypnotic.
from there on, there will be 3-4 releases per year, each of which will be accompanied by high quality artwork as curated by borchardt, who will work closely with selected photographers and artists to provide imagery that aesthetically compliments the music.

panatype co-founder, bernard baum, serves up “after”: nine ambient & leftfield tracks making up a sublime half-hour that will have you hooked.

the labelhead resoe returns with a 3 track ep that contains a remix of cosmic blast by berghain resident norman nodge (mdr/ostgut ton) on the a side resoe delivers a floor mover with fat moving bass and dusty chords that for sure packs the floor. the first track on the b side norman nodge gives cosmic blast his trademark touch of dirty simple techno. the breakdown in the middle will make your woofers bleed!!!! the second track on the b side is a dub techno track with lots of elements from a 2 hour field recording resoe did in his backyard from the studio. the track builds up slowly and ends in a smooth groovy atmosphere.

long waited 4th ep from japanese deep house force pan records is here. unlike precious releases, this is volume 1 of its various artist sampler series. all 3 of them are scheduled to be released in 2012. first track to open the series is >flash back< by sai. this japanese producer has been favored and debuted from morris audio in 2010. the track has dreamy and floating feel to start off with, later it gets more grove going with subtle vocal goes behind. stays musical yet feels minimal, a2 also kept the vibe from a1 and makes you stay in the dreamland. it is by only the non-japanese artist on this wax, dennis uprock aka resoe from denmark. he is the owner of baum records and one half of the duo >pattern repeat< and this rather timeless track exactly demonstrated his years of experience in producing. >future progress<, is true and honest to its name. dj pi-ge is one of the owner of the label along side of ryo murakami and sisi. he provides a track with punchy synth and revered black man’s vocal. notably slow teasing build up from the beginning till the end, this is an interesting addition to the ep. attention grabbing. last of all, >rising moon< is by tokyo based artist naoki shinohara, previously released from xdbs metrolux music. this track can be described by strong hart beat like hi hats and soul filling melody. its a perfect closer to this quality deep house ep from the land of rising sun.
